I was listening to the bard singing Beowulf this evening and learned that Grendel was a descendant of Cain. (The new English subtitles helped.)

I once knew a fella who is a descendant of Aristotle. My family once was able to trace their linage back to Adam but the records got lost in the flood.    |

My family once was able to trace their linage back to Adam but the records got lost in the flood. Haha! My family records were quickly restored after the flood, though, and thankfully I even have several copies in my house!  |
