Here I come to save the day.... There's no need to fear, Underdog is here. Look, up in the sky. It's a bird, it's a plane, it's........................... baugh-baugh-baugh-baugh.... Chicken-man. Oh those were the days. Someone mention cartoon memories in another thread. I said to my self, "Self, that would be a good thread." And, here it is. How many can remember Superman as a cartoon. You know, Superman was a cartoon long before he was on TV. And the first motion pictures of Superman was actually in the theatres, between the news and the feature film. Anyone know who was the voice of Superman on radio? Well, that's enough to get a thread started.

I remember Superman comic books, but I also remember the old TV show (not a cartoon).
Underdog was one of my favorite cartoons. As was Mighty Mouse, Crazy Kat & Ignat, Superboy.
Remember the old Popeye cartoons that began with those big doors opening and closing, showing the credits?
Also liked Mr. Peabody and Sherman, Tutor Turtle and Mr. Wizard ("Help me, Mr. Wizard!"), and Romper Room. ;-)
