I have removed some scripts that load in the page that may have been the reason for the slowness of the board. I removed the pop-up Bible passage script and the Thesaurus button.
Please give me some feed back if you see a difference.

Didy has told me that it has made no difference for him. He is not able to load our site at all. So I will be reinstalling those scripts I had removed.

Once again I needed to remove our Logos script which pops up the Bible Text when moused over. The logos site has been down thus has slowed the loading of our website.
I will keep tabs on the situation and reinstall it when possible.

I experienced trouble earlier on today (actually yesterday now) but I went to a place that said proboards was experiencing temporary problems. I didn't get the impression that it was your specific site that was causing the problem, else it would have been consistently slow...but we do thank you for trying to make our preterist Internet experience more pleasureable...

...but we do thank you for trying to make our preterist Internet experience more pleasureable... Would that be a fulfilling preterist experience?! Sheldon, When you mentioned that it reminded me of a dispensationalist acquaintance I have been dealing with over the past 3 years (he keeps coming back for more argument). One such "discussion" has been over what the meaning of fulfill is. It all started (I think) when I tried to show him that Romans 15:12's quote of Isaiah 11:10's prophecy was fulfullied in the first century church because Gentiles has been coming to the Lord and were present in the church at Rome. The Jews didn't like having to share their inheritance. Anyway, since Isaiah 11:1-9 represents the dispensational millennial kingdom and is descriptive of the "in that day" of Isaiah 11:10, you can well imagine why my dispie friend had to wiggle out of the actual fulfillment to that first century. His answer was to say that the prophecy had not been fulfilled because ALL the Gentiles had not been saved and this would happen at the end of the age (or something like that). His main point was that fulfilled had to mean completely "filled fully." And he holds to that view today
