I thought it would be fun to share with you a musician in the family who has been trying hard to succeed in Nashville. He will finally be getting his chance soon. He won a competition at the Corn Palace and will be heading to the Grand Ole Opre to compete against other great talent. He is from a very small town in Nebraska just 12 miles from my home. He was home for Thanksgiving and shared with us the excitement he has for this opportunity. Here is one of his songs at this link: LINK

That reminds me of my days as a Country Music radio DJ. We had a jingle we occasionally played before a break. The lyrics were, "We'll be right back; we'll be right back. As soon as we go to the out house." Oh, Allyn, it was what Bev said that brought that to memory. I didn't go to the link. You know my computer problems.

He has a couple of good songs performed and written by him. The one that won the competition was about missing his gradfather. It was a touching song.
