Note a few things here that make your assumptions opposed to scripture;
- God desires all men to be saved.
- God is our Saviour.
- God is distinguished from Christ

Now, I'm not a trinitarian, but this quite clear that the 'Father' is our Saviour and He desires all men to be saved.
