I'm really glad to have you here, Tom. Less than a year in preterism, uh. Wow. I feel old compared to that. I have been a full preterist for about 3 years now. Speak whatever is on your mind and ask whatever you wish. You will find all od us to be very easy to have a fun discussion with. The Arena is another Pret. BB, hosted by Michael Loomis. I haven't posted anything there yet. I have been a Christian for 35 years, quit Pre-trib views 15 years ago (but slummed awhile still in Pre-wrathism), became Reformed about 8 years ago, Amill about, I guess, 5 years ago. All the while, I can see now, I was getting closer. For a couple of years I was calling myself Partial-Preterist, but at the beginning of this year I just sort of graduated into FP. Oddly, at happened when I was in the beginning of writing a series on Zion of God from Isaiah 40 - 66, a series I am still working on. I saw that Isaiah and Revelation both used the phrase in the same way, with the same application. It had to have been already fulfilled. I am leaving out a lot of stuff here for brevity. Speaking of which, I better get going with my other projects for thew day. I hope to come back and learn more, add my two cents as I'm withdrawing my dollar. I have also been making myself tiresome at Baptist Board, beating my (as they have said) Preterist "agenda" drum. I came here so I could have some friendly convo for a change. |

P.S. Don't feel too intimidated to post a differing opinion on anything. We can discuss and disagree with respect here, and that's one of the reason's I really enjoy this place (or more correctly, the people here).
