Last year, we Phillies fans lost legend broadcaster, Harry Kalas. This year, Tiger fans lost legend broadcaster, Ernie Harwell.
Harry Kalas left children that are just as talented as their dad. I don't know much about Ernie Harwell, but I am sure he left a similar legacy as Harry Kalas did. But, filling their shoes is not going to be easy, and it may be futile to even try. Phillies announcers, like Tiger announcers that are left behind may do their best. But, let's face it. There is no way to fill the shoes of a legend.
May the Harwell family, as well as the Tiger family and fans be comforted.
