Once4All, Just noticed you are from Arizona. Can you share the "Truth upon Truth" about that law everybody is talking about. Is it a racist like some people are saying? Or does it simply allow that State of Arizona to practice that which the Federal Government should be doing in the first place? And, out of curiosity. Did Arizona cut off her Indian ways yet?

Once4All, Just noticed you are from Arizona. Can you share the "Truth upon Truth" about that law everybody is talking about. Is it a racist like some people are saying? Or does it simply allow that State of Arizona to practice that which the Federal Government should be doing in the first place? And, out of curiosity. Did Arizona cut off her Indian ways yet? Paul Revere and the Raiders. I can only give you my opinion and my opinion is that something needs to be done and if this law helps to curtail the illegal immigration, I'm all for it. People who don't live here, who don't live in a border county as I do, do not understand the impact that illegal immigration has on our everyday lives. I moved here 32 years ago because I love the desert and the mountains, and I love to hike in the desert and the mountains. I love the outdoors. But now, because of illegal immigration (which includes armed drug smugglers who have shot and killed Americans on American soil, as well as desperate people hoping to find a better life here) I no longer feel safe hiking in my beloved desert and mountains. In fact, I carry a firearm whenever I'm out hiking or driving someplace that takes me over rural roads. It is not fair, not right, that I have to fear for my safety from persons in this country illegally. This is an international problem, not a State problem. But if the federal government won't take necessary action to ensure the safety of its citizens, then the State has every right to pick up the slack.

Thanks Bev, I'd like to see that posted on My Political forum. If you don't, may I?

You can post it if you want. I'm not really into debating it, though.

Three cheers for Arizona. It is about time. You're right Bev. The Federal government refuses to address this "huge" problem. Nothing racist about this at all.
