Last night, Tuesday: William Bell & Don Preston – Two Guys and a Bible.
Those two guys are great to listen to. I got more out of that hour, solid bible study, Jesus and Paul referencing OT passages of the soon (within a generation) judgement of those who hate him than all the years of futurist books and prophecy conferences. Absolutely a well spent hour in the evening.
Have a great day. Steve

I wonder how long it takes to archive the podcast? Only the last show from 1-12-10 is listed.

Its up this morning - great teaching about the last days. Also helps debunk the Amil view which is hard to refute because of what they do to scripture as it concerns Israel's hope in the coming of Christ. I'm looking forward to hearing the rest of this series on Zion.

Steve - I totally agree! I just finished listening this morning and it was fantastic! They are fun to listen to (even when they are recovering from illnesses!)
Robin - yep sometimes Mike posts them evening because they are there in the early morning hours so I can access at work but usually by 9-10am next day consistently like Jeff said.
The other cool thing about going to the archive page is that you can also click on the right hand column of the list of shows and it will give you all the shows from that weekly program so if you are just starting to listen to "two guys..." or whatever you can have all their shows stacked up and listen to them back to back in order.
I have been so richly blessed by those podcasts...I pray that everyone who is able to contributes financially to Mike's ministry so he can continue to nourish and grow it to the ends of the earth!
Jeff when are you going to go on?? If you do call me so I can be in the chat room during it!
Blessings all! Wanda

Thanks for the kind words Wanda. I'm just doing what I know how to do. And my hope is that I will be able to continue putting forth a full time effort in this venture. I can only begin to imagine how far reaching the effects of all this will be. Go check out a new program I started today with Larry Siegle. It's called, "The Journey." ad70.net/podcast/the-journey/the-journey-01-22-2010/

Driving home from work yesterday the Christian radio stations were talking politics. All about Obamma and taxes, healthcare, the economy, Iran, Islam, the time of the end, etc. Not a word about the previous administrations trashing of the constitution and the country along those same lines. Jesus must of been a Republican.
Coming into work this morning the Calvary Chapel pastor was preaching and got to the verse on Luke 9:27 But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God. His answer, which denies the literalness of its fulfillment, compelled me to change the channel.
Whoops, another station with another pastor talking about the signs of his return, the rapture, and the anti-christ. Christian radio programs seem to ratcheting up the "soon" return of Jesus. I thought I was stuck on a page of a Left Behind novel. It's 5 AM and I have no where to turn to . . .
But wait, I remembered, thankfully, last night on AD70.net Don Preston gave another excellent presentation on the fulfillment of prophecy concerning Zion in scripture. (Continued from last week.) What a great history and biblical lesson. Using OT scripture to interpret NT scripture. And the history book Josephus confirms those fulfillments. Too bad William Bell couldn't be there to help out. But Don was great, and the show went way over time. Fascinating insight with the book of Enoch too. I wish I could remember all that stuff.
Anyways, AD70.net has been a blessing to me. Afterwords, I usually go to bed and read a little, investigating the things I was just taught. Makes for a very nice evening.
Blessings to all. Steve

Steve I am jealous for the time you have given yourself to listen to those shows live. I have not even been able to listen to the ones I downloaded. However, I have been having my Tuesday night Bible study with my young pastor friend and last night he said that he was coming around to my view with a couple of things still holding him back. We also had a guest with us last night and he marveled at the teaching, so I guess we each are blessed whether it be by the finding of the Word through the radio or in person in a Bible study.

Don Preston certainly is able to make certain points more clear - especially when compared to what others conclude from scripture. The OT spoke so clearly of 2 Jerusalems that Paul could make an analogy between them based on Hagar and Sarah. He was not bringing in some new idea that no one had ever heard before, because the prophets had spoken of Zion in that same way. But our pastors don't seem to know how to pull an example from the old to make what is new and spiritual easier for a Gentile to understand. Instead they return to a wooden literalism and vain imaginations to explain a new Jerusalem in the earth. It is worth noting that Paul did not set aside the OT when speaking to Gentiles at all - nor should we.
I was also encouraged that when a Jewish scholar investigated the NT quotes with the LLX that he was amazed at their continuity and came to see that Jesus was in fact the Messiah that was spoken of by prophecy. It is Jesus' testimony and we should know how to give it - by bringing forth things both old and new - which is the only hermeneutic that is biblical!

I concur! I also agree the dispensationalist charts contradicts themselves and does not not make sense. "Dispensational Truth" by Larkins frustrated me to no ends. Great program! The Sower~

Last night I listened to 2 Guys and a Bible. I missed the first 5 minutes so I didn't hear what happened to Don. William Bell talked pretty much the entire night. I stayed away from the chat room and just listened. I love talking to everyone during that time, but I have a difficult time reading, typing my thoughts and listening all at the same time. For me anyways. So I listened. William Bell . . . . he da man. Great show! Steve

I missed several minutes of it and at first I was in the chat room but logged out within 5 minutes because the back and forth was intense and I was not in the mood for that. I do better without the distractions like that. This is not to say I won't log in again, because I have every intention to do so, but sometimes my mood is not for what I saw that night.

I like the chat room feature, but had forgotten how easy people get off track. But if you are paying attention, it is great for getting a question or comment in for them to answer. I don't know how Mike does it - and never seems to miss a beat!
