I just finished watching the Jesus Camp movie. I have all kinds of things to say about it. None of it good. Remember all the hoopla about the school kids singing Obama songs? This was no different. Maybe even worse. Children are being used as pawns by so-called Christians just as much as Christians are accusing the Liberals of indoctrinating children into the Liberal agenda. And it's not just the political and activist messages, it's also the indoctrination of the children into false "experience theology." You can watch the movie over at freedocumentaries.orgIt probably didn't help that right before that I watched a documentary about Edward Bernays (Sigmund Freud's American nephew) who invented the field of public relations in the 1920s. He used Freud's ideas to manipulate the masses and control human actions by tapping into their unconscious desires.

The attempt at demonic possession is perhaps the most interesting part of the indoctrination of their children. So much for train up a child in the way he should go...to make sure he won't depart from it when he is older? Why not just teach them voodoo? I mean as long as the ways of the world is the model you choose to 'christianize'...
yuck

The small comfort that I have is that I believe 99 percent of those kids who really take Christ as their Savior will also be mature enough in time to recognize what it really was that was being drilled into them.

Repeated 3 times in the gospel:
Mat 18:6 - But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
Will a child who is duped into this stuff by his parents have the discernment he needs to recover himself? He may very well leave the faith altogether when he realizes what he got himself into. Only the true gospel saves, and who pray will he hear that from? You have to first receive Christ - but what spirit are these children falling into convulsions on the floor receiving?
The little girl with tears streaming down her face was faring no better.

They are teaching them that one can't truly experience God unless you are having these dramatic emotional experiences. Don't know if you watched the whole thing, but the little girl was explaining how God wants his worship to be exciting and boisterous, and how those who sit in church singing softly "We worship you, Lord" while sitting still in their pews, well "those are called dead churches," she said. So in typical cult fashion, they are being taught that unless people act and worship the same way we do, they are not real Christians.
