Christians are certainly not insulated from economic trends of the world. We must always remain hopeful in every situation. This is a non-scientific poll just for the fun of it.

I replied "No Change" but I won't know how accurate that answer is for a few months. Up until now, I can confidently say "no change," but I've just retired and it will take a couple of months for pension income to stabalize.
When I say "just retired" I mean real recently... this week has been my first week of retirement!

The economy hasn't effected me as far as I can tell. Some investments are down. But I'm still way up over all. However on another note. I've been on disability for two months now. And in California disability actually pays pretty well. Funny thing is I spoke with the big boss at the company I work for the other day to find out that they've been having to lay people off left and right and that those that are still working are working only 32 hours a week, or they are sitting at home on unemployment. And here I am at home on disability making more than I would be if I were working 32 hours a week and way more than I would if I were on unemployment.
The providence of God sure is a good thing to be able to see and glorify in. 8)

I voted no change as well, but actually my income has increased over the past year. My work load is up and I have 2 employees. I live in Nebraska and it seems we are not affected by the so called down turn.

I voted no change because my salary hasn't (yet...). But I forgot about investments - I have lost money there. Which has never been stable since I tried my hand at it, but losing principal hurts. The way its going I will have to work til the Lord takes me home. Oh and property values are dropping fast here. Rates are good but you can't re-fi if you don't have any equity!

Being a crazy Canadian, I voted "for the good" because it has given me the opportunity to borrow to get into the "market." I have a simple rule about investments...when my barber says "Now is a time to get into the market," I start selling. And when he says "Run!" I start buying... Stocks are on sale at ten year lows. Gather them up. We buy everything else on sale, except stocks. This is because fear and the negative media drives us away... My pick is Office Depot (ODP-NYSE). Yep. I buy AMerican stuff too...

I recently became a farm land owner which has a seven year lease where I receive rental income from it 2 times a year. In the area I live (rich farm ground country) farm land is a very good investment. Its not an investment in which you someday look to sell and gain a profit but one in which you can always make an income off the land and have something to pass on to the kids.

Their is guy building a HUGE new dairy,I get alot of work from him,and learn alot new things that I'm sure I'll never use again. I work alone mostly, and listen to teachings all day on my ipod (almost makes me a little crazy w/ info overload) so if anyones has any must hear mp3 links that be great. Yep, love my job

Well folks, that was my prediction on April 12th of this year. At that time Office Depot (ODP) had closed at $1.88 on April 9th (just before Good Friday). It has just reached a high of $5.05 today and is presently trading at around $4.70 to $4.75. Hopefully some of you investigated the stock... Mellontes
