I am sure I have heard that once the gospel was preached to everyone on this planet then the rapture would occur. In fact, this is one of the reasons that I thought dispensationalists evangelized.
Now I am being told that the gospel being preached everywhere only applies to the second coming, and not the rapture.
If anyone has direct sources which talk about the gospel being preached related directly to the rapture, then I would greatly appreciate it. I am off to Thomas Ice's site as soon as I click "Post Message."
Thanks!

Personally I think is just a variation of the old Jewish adage that says when all the Jews obey at one moment in time then Messiah will come.

Personally I think is just a variation of the old Jewish adage that says when all the Jews obey at one moment in time then Messiah will come. I agree, but I was hoping for some dispie quotes to confirm my original premise. Apparently, they believe (as well?) that the gospel going out to all the world is time-specific to their 7 year tribulation period and will be carried out by the 144,000 Jews that were magically saved (if saved at all) to preach this gospel of the kingdomI thought for sure I heard some dispie say that the gospel had to be preached before their rapture took place. Does anybody have a source that agrees with this? Please.

Ted, There are at least two Dispensational positions on when the rapture will occur. One is after the new Halocaust of the Jews and the other is right before. Most do not agree with the after but I do know of a few who hold to the after. Stan Goodenough holds to the after. Try these links: www.stangoodenough.com/?p=42www.stangoodenough.com/?p=3

It is possible that no dispensational pretribulation source believes or even has said these things. It is very hard to get these guys to stand solidly in one place and not move to another...
