That's not old, Steve! I'm 51 and submitting my retirement paperwork today. Bev You are? Now I'm jealous. Don't be jealous! Your day will arrive. I was offered the opportunity to retire early because of some restructuring of positions where I work. Four positions were authorized for "early out." Six people applied for it. Approval was based on seniority. I was lucky that the one other person who has more time than I do, and matches the grade and job series of the restructured postion, did not apply for it. If he had applied, I would not have gotten it because he has about one year more time than I do. Probably way more information than you expected. ;D Bev
