I've been following the thread at CARM started by 1TrueDisciple who by the way is Mod16. I am very pleased with our member responses. Not the contrasting responses and their evil bashing intent. But our members have been calm and direct. The accusation always come and I just fume when I see them - But God and His truth are the solid rock of our faith and I am so proud of your humble restraint in your answers.

Have you seen the post where an atheist is quoted and PT is trying to establish that the HP encourages his premise that God is impotent or evil if He does not do away with evil in the earth. The orthodox position is claimed to be that eventually God will end all sin and misery in this world and that is the hope we are to give in answer to this slander against God's character.
Where does this creed/ idea come from? I know JW's hold to a paradise in the physical realm. But what mortals will ever see such a world?

Where does this creed/ idea come from? I know JW's hold to a paradise in the physical realm. But what mortals will ever see such a world? I don't know where that comes from. I was talking with Dr. Kelly Birks while in Omaha this past weekend and the subject of calvinism came up. I told him I am not able to buy into calvinism and he said he wanted to teach me. I said I would maybe meet with him again someday just to here it from the horses mouth, but what struck me was that he believes that since God has predestined only a certain number to be saved that over time the predestined soul pool will eventually run out and then will God bring an end to this material age and then only will sin finally be eradicated. I was thinking this would be hard to prove biblically.
