Maybe you all know this already but you can send yourself a PM for whatever reason you wish. Why would I want to do that, you might ask. Well I found that one way for me to remember something I may have otherwise forgotten (Acts 1:11 for instance) a PM to me from me works very well.

I used to send myself email all the time when I was still working, to remind me of appointments or things I needed to do or buy. Yes, I see how PMs can be used in a similar way, especially as reminders for things pertaining to the forums.

Allyn, Is there a way to receive an Email when something I've posted is replied to? I'm a member of several Google lists what provide this.

Yes, if you go to your profile and click on bookmarks, which will bring you HERE, then you can choose which way to be notified about a thread you are following. You bookmark a thread by clicking the "bookmark" button located at the bottom of a recent post. I hope this helps.

Thanks, Allyn. I didn't know how the bookmark feature worked. That's cool. I also just noticed the "send topic to friend" link at the bottom of threads. Has that always been there?

You're welcome Bev. Yes that has always been there. I should look through all the options and let you all know what is there for your use.
